Why the name 14 Degrees?

We hear that a lot.   When bowling, fourteen degrees is just inside the amount of angle (fifteen degrees) permitted for elbow extension when a cricket ball is bowled to make it a fair delivery. So the boundaries are being pushed when bowling at that limit, and that's how we like to approach business - we like to 'Push the Boundaries'TM.

It's quirky, but the name 14 Degrees emerged, along with our 'red ball under blazing sun' logo device.

What's Our Particular Interest in Cricket?

The Founders are old school mates from Chevalier College, Bowral, with a life-long love of the game of cricket, having played at district representative level in their junior days.

Since then they have played club cricket and organised and played in many charity cricket and corporate cricket matches, including with Legends of the game, at numerous locations around Australia.

Take a look at the gallery of images from past Play Like a LegendR cricket matches that the Founders have been involved with, including with Legends such as Merv Hughes, Kerry O'Keeffe, Geoff Lawson, Dean Jones, Colin Miller, Rodney Hogg.

We just love cricket, but we're pretty partial to most forms of sport!
